About This Role
We are hiring two Landscape Assistants to support our growing landscaping team. You will work alongside our experienced Foreman on various landscaping projects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in the landscaping industry. Training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance: mowing, trimming, raking, weeding
- Support planting of flowers, shrubs, trees, and sod installation
- Help with mulching, soil preparation, and garden bed construction
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs
- Perform site preparation and end-of-day cleanup
- Follow directions from the Foreman and senior team members
Requirements
- Previous landscaping or outdoor work experience (preferred, not required)
- Physically capable of demanding outdoor work
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Basic understanding of workplace safety
- Own transportation to job sites (preferred)
- Willingness to learn new skills
