About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Fence Foreman to lead our fence installation and repair crew. You will manage projects from initial layout to final inspection, ensuring quality workmanship on every job. Must have proven experience with various fence types and the ability to operate vehicles with trailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise fence installation and repair crews
- Plan and execute projects: wood, vinyl, chain-link, and aluminum fencing
- Read property surveys, blueprints, and project specifications
- Ensure accurate post placement and proper panel installation
- Operate company vehicles with trailers to transport materials and equipment
- Train crew members on installation techniques and safety procedures
- Communicate with clients regarding project scope and progress
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and company quality standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of fence installation experience (required)
- Valid G driver’s license (required)
- Experience operating vehicles with trailers (required)
- Proven experience with wood, vinyl, chain-link, and aluminum fencing
- Previous supervisory or crew lead experience
- Ability to read property surveys and installation plans
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Physically fit for outdoor construction work
- Own reliable transportation
