Wood Privacy Fence & Retaining Wall with Drainage in Burlington
A collapsed shared fence rebuilt as a new pressure treated privacy fence with two gates, plus a stone retaining wall and drainage system on a sloped pool yard in Burlington.

About This Project
The homeowners in Burlington came to us after a storm brought their old fence down completely. One of the before photos says it all: whole fence sections lying flat on the ground next to the pool. Because the fence sat on a property line shared with two neighbours, we brought all three households together and turned it into one clean project everyone was happy with.
We rebuilt the full run as a brand new pressure treated privacy fence, straight, solid, and built to last. Every section was levelled by hand, the posts were set deep in concrete, and two new wooden gates were added with a tidy connection back to the house. What was once a pile of broken boards is now a private, good looking backyard again.
The real challenge was the ground. The yard sloped down toward the inground pool, and water had been pooling along the old edge with nowhere to go. To fix it the right way, we built a natural stone retaining wall with a proper drainage system behind it. Now the grade holds, the water moves away from the patio, and the space finally works the way it should.
Best of all, doing the fence and the wall together kept everything simple. One crew, one point of contact, one clean result. As the summer photos show, the family now has a level, private, low maintenance backyard they can actually enjoy.
