Deck with Metal Railings

This project in Burlington is a great example of how a well-built deck can completely transform a backyard. The homeowner wanted to create a small corner of comfort where the whole family could gather and spend quality time together, that is, comfort, safety and privacy, which is what we did. Directly from the house you can step onto a terrace with beautiful black decorative metal railings with a wrought iron finish that go well with the brick house. A wide staircase with metal railings on both sides makes it easy to ascend from the lawn to the terrace. We also added a horizontal plank screen along one side of the terrace to block the neighbors' view. Finally, we installed solar caps on the screen posts to create a warm atmosphere and illuminate the space on summer evenings. The entire structure is surrounded by mature plants - lilac bushes, perennials, and an abundance of greenery - so the terrace feels like a natural part of the backyard, not just an extension of the house.
